Admission Criteria

Types of Admission

Babson College applicants can apply through the Early Action, Early Decision – I/II or Regular Decision programs. Students admitted through the Early Decision admission plan are required to cancel their applications elsewhere and enroll in Babson College. Regular Decision is a non-binding and unrestrictive admission plan that allows students more time to complete the application and to have grades from the first term of their senior year considered in the review.

 

Application Components

Application: Submit the Common Application.
Application Fee: $75 submitted online when you submit your Common Application. If the application fee presents a financial burden, students may apply for a fee waiver.
Secondary School Report: Submitted by your college or guidance counselor.
Official High School Transcript: Submitted by your college or guidance counselor.
Senior grades: Submitted by your college or guidance counselor. First quarter grades for Early Decision & Early Action applicants. Midyear grades for Regular Decision applicants when available.
Letters of Recommendation: One counselor recommendation and one teacher recommendation.
Standardized Test Scores: While test scores are optional for students applying for fall 2023 and fall 2024, the average SAT score for admitted students was 1420 and the average ACT score was 32.

Essays: Applicants will submit the personal essay using one of the Common Application prompts and submit the Babson College specific supplemental essays. When you apply to Babson with The Common Application you will be asked to submit two writing supplements in response to the following prompts:
